Chapter 1:Zoey POV
I walked happily down the hall. I never wanted more happiness. I just wanted this much, The feeling inside me. The butterfly's in my stomach after Me and Stark's first kiss had come back. But then Nyx's words came... No!Not Zoey! Goodbye my daughter...And that's when it started.
I coughed. I could taste blood in my mouth. Oh crap!Im rejecting the change! "Stark!"I shouted. Stark turned is head. He ran to me from the other side of the room. He shouted something to Damien. Stark was bawling. He had towels on my lap."Zoey, Your gonna be okay, dont wo-" "No, Im rejecting the change, So this will be goodbye"I said coughing up more blood.
Rephaim and Stevie Rae ran into the room. Damien was so white he looked ghostly. "No!Not Zoey!"Stevie Rae cryed out. Damien had the spirit candle. He handed it to me. "Spirit, come to me!"I said almost choking on blood. Then I couldn't feel anything.
My vision was going blury, I knew my time had came."Goodbye guys.."I said. I heard my friend's screaming "No!" but it wasn't any use. Stark kissed me on the forehead and Stevie Rae was holding my my vision went white and the spirit candle blew out...
I woke up. I was back in Nyx's Realm. "Hello!"I shouted. Then I saw my little Glee addicted friend run out of the bushes. "Jack!"I screamed hugging him. "Zoey, Your here!But, You died."Jack said but I knew he was thinking about all our friend's back at the House of Night.
"Yeah. I kinda rejected the change."I said. "Guess who wants to see you!"Jack said. "Heath,Come here!"Jack shouted. "Yeah Jack. What-"Heath said walking out of a little house shaped thingy. "Heath!" I screamed. "Zoey!"Then he realised it. "Your dead?"He asked looking worried. "Yeah I rejected the change"I then Heath and Jack both dropped to the ground and then dissapeared. Then the same thing happened to me.
I woke for the third time that day. I was in Lenobia's horse stables. "Zoey your awake!"Heath said. Heath had red markings on his did too. Then I realised.
Im a red fledgling,So are Heath and Jack.
