Inspired by/based upon a passage in the book "The Little Prince".
The Doctor found himself staring into the faces of dozens of Daleks. He thought he'd seen the last of them. But that was silly. The time war was when he'd thought he'd seen the last of them. But they kept coming back. Always wanting more. Another slice of world-destruction. Having just had to say goodbye to Rose for a second time, he hadn't the patience to deal with these insatiable creatures for one second longer. So all he could do was stare them down angrily, and explain exactly how he felt about them. Not that they would understand
"Daleks!" he said, with all the calmness he could possibly muster. "As you know, I just lost someone who meant rather a lot to me. It may not have been because of you this time, in fact I probably have you to thank that I got to see her one last time. BUT…it's because of you that I lost her in the first place." He sighed. "And now I guess all I've got is you. But you're not at all like my Rose. You're nothing at all, really." The Daleks were silent. "You're just…you're empty," the Doctor went on. "No one would ever die for you. Not like my Rose." He smiled. "I'd die for her a hundred times. My Rose, all on her own, is more important than all of you together. She's the one I've traveled with. She's the one I've gotten to know. She the one I've…loved. She's my Rose."
The Daleks, in their own Dalek way, did understand.
The Doctor gave those Daleks one last look, then turned and left without another word.
