Hey anybody who reads this! I wrote the first line of this when I was talking to someone and I just liked the way it sounded so I decided to expand it into a little poem. Criticisms welcome, hope you enjoy it. Thanks :)

Laughter frees the soul, even for the briefest of moments,
Smiling burns the heart, when you do not feel the joy,
Tears sting your eyes, when your world has fallen apart,
Pain deepens the void, left by that one special boy.
