Dear Aunt Wu

DISCLAIMER: I do not own Avatar: The Last Airbender or Aunt Wu.

Ever since the Avatar's visit, Aunt Wu had never been more popular. During Aang's stay, Aunt Wu had predicted a volcanic eruption and the safety of the people, and both had come true. After her latest and greatest fulfilled prophecy, the people celebrated her psychic powers to the highest extent possible. They had held a celebratory feast, honored her with a festival, and given her an advice column in the newspaper.

Now Aunt Wu sat staring at a pile of unopened letters, all addressed to the town prophet. Amongst the many white envelopes covering her desk lay an unusually foreign-looking envelope colored brown. Looking the envelope over, Aunt Wu noticed that it came, not from the local people, but from the earth city of Ba Sing Se. Then she saw the name of the envelope's sender. The piece of mail came from the Avatar himself. Intrigued, Aunt Wu opened the envelope and read Aang's letter:

Dear Aunt Wu,

You were right. I really could reshape my destiny like the clouds. Love did come as I wanted it, but maybe more importantly, I didn't have to wait for fate to give it to me. I took destiny into my own hands and moved it along in the direction I wanted. I just wanted to thank you for the advice. It made me realize that I don't have to go with what life gives me; I have the power to turn it around. It even helped me find my own way of defeating Ozai (They all thought I'd have to kill him, but they were wrong!)

So thanks,

Avatar Aang

P.S. Say hi to the town for me!

Aunt Wu set down the letter and smiled. When she had given him the advice, she had somehow known that her words would someday help the Avatar.
