With distaste, Darkrai gazed out at his lover as she and her umbreon took on a challenger. But, he had vowed himself to follow her wishes, in hopes of her eternal happiness. So en lieu with this vow, he promised her he would never partake in her league battles, and only intervene when completely necessary. As in, 'life-threatening completely necessary'.

Darkrai had figured out the completely necessary part after he had gotten her disqualified from a few battles. Mentally he growled. What a stupid vow. What a stupid, stupid little girl.

"I could give a more powerful dark pulse than that," He snarled. 'Some protection that bratty umbreon is . . . barely able to defend itself - let alone my mistress . . ."

Despite his constant unrest, Dawn always managed to prevail no matter what obstacle. He was just a big worry wart as Dawn so eloquently put, a smile on her face, medal in her hand and happiness in her heart. When he sees her living the happy dreams he never thought he'd be the cause of, he can't help but to stop and smile back.

Such happy dreams; Such a happy, happy life they now led.
