Chapter 1 – Morty gets his new legs
You are about to read about the time Morty gets stilts, to help him stay tall.
Morty's legs are actually made of ice. The only problem is – that his height gradually decreases during hot days, which are why he has long hair – he thinks his legs won't melt.
Because of this, Morty doesn't have a bedroom. When he was little, his parents could see he was much smaller than all of the other people at pre-school. One day, when Morty was going to bed, his parents took him into the kitchen.
They explained to him that they were replacing his bed with a freezer – and he was going to have to stick his legs in some moulds filled with water. Then overnight, the ice would freeze and he'd be taller.
Morty thought he'd try it out for one night – he did get very cold in the freezer – and when he was asleep, the cold air managed to freeze his eyes wide open – making him look like a chibi drawing shamanofdreams could do!
Morty alarm clock went off. Some icicles fell from the ceiling of the freezer – splatting off his forehead, luckily putting his eyes back in the right place. He fell out of the freezer and onto the ground. His bedroom windows as closed which meant it was very stuffy in there.
He went downstairs and got ready for school with his new legs. Today was the day of the school trip to the beach…
