It was seven years ago to this day, and still it is ever clear in my mind.
I couldn't help it. As I laid the flowers down on top of his grave, all
the memories came flooding back. I looked up to see Ron walking up behind
me. He didn't speak, but sat down beside me, as the tears leaked out of my
eyes.
"He never would have wanted you to be unhappy."
I wiped the tears angrily from my face. "Then he shouldn't have died!
He promised he wouldn't leave me."
Ron placed a comforting hand on my arm. "You know he didn't want to,
Gin."
He was right.
