Disclaime: I do not own SPN or the song "Hey Brother".
Castiel POV.
Usually the only human music I listen to is the music dean plays in the Impala, but Sam has now introduced me to other music genres. I have found that I like jazz and country music. Some "gospel" songs were okay, but are not my favorite. The pop songs of this culture are extremely odd. Some of them don't make sense, but I have learned that they speak metaphorically and put much imagination into the songs. I do like some of the older pop songs though. Because of this Sam gave me an MP3 player to put whatever music I want on it so I can listen to those songs more often. So they let me put 100 different songs of different genres, not including the ones Dean put on there. So here we were driving down the highway when I came across this song that I thought the boys would want to listen to.
"Hey Dean, can you turn off that music." I asked.
"Why?" He questioned looking at me as if I was mentally insane.
"There is this song that I think you and same should hear." I replied.
"No Cas, I do not want to listen to some girly song." Dean said. Sam looked over at Dean, and said,
"Come on Dean, he must like this sing he found and we have to sometimes take a break from your music that we hear all the time."
"Fine," Dean said giving up, "but only this song." And he turned of the radio. I took the head phones off and let the song play out loud.
Hey, brother, there's an endless road to re-discover.
After the first line I see that their attention was more focused on the song, which was its intended purpose. Things have been getting stressed in between the brothers and they have started ignoring the things around them, including me so I wanted to get them to stay close because they were going to need it
Hey, sister, know the water's sweet but blood is thicker.
Oh, if the sky comes falling down for you,
There's nothing in this world I wouldn't do.
Hey, brother, do you still believe in one another?
Hey, sister, do you still believe in love, I wonder?
Oh, if the sky comes falling down for you,
There's nothing in this world I wouldn't do.
I could tell the were thinking of both things in the past and in the future, for they have had a "tough" life.
What if I'm far from home?
Oh, brother, I will hear you call.
What if I lose it all?
Oh, sister, I will help you out!
Oh, if the sky comes falling down for you,
There's nothing in this world I wouldn't do.

When the song ended I stopped the music like I said I would. I saw the look that passed between the brothers. They are skilled in communicating silently through looks. "Alright," Dean said slightly unnerved "enough of this chick-flick moment, we have a job to get to." Sam just smiled at Dean and gave me a look that said thank you. I nodded in return. After all my family up in heaven has fallen apart, I don't want the family I have made on earth falling apart either.
