The Tuxedo
Mai crossed her arms over her chest while studying the tuxedo Joey had tried on. "Maybe we should go with a white tux," she said.
A large sweat droplet appeared over Joey's head. "Would you make up your mind? You wait until it's on me to change your mind, and we've already been through black, blue, green, and even pink!"
"Well you want to look nice for the wedding, don't you?" she asked with an annoyed expression.
"Mai, no matter what I wear, I'm gonna look ridiculous. If I change one more time, that's going to be final," he snapped.
Mai became thoughtful. "Well... I suppose we could do tye-dye... But that would look so tacky."
"Mai, I didn't do this to you when you were choosing your dress!" he groaned.
"Hmm... Let's try the royal blue tuxedo again," she said to the salesperson, who looked as annoyed as Joey.
"Yes, Miss," he said, struggling to remain calm, then walked away.
Joey sighed. "Mai, it's just a wedding. Why worry about buying outfits we'll only wear once?"
"Because you only get married once," she replied. "Joey, just trust me."
He groaned some, then when the man returned, he found the change room and tried on the blue tuxedo again. When he walked out, he looked at Mai expectantly.
"Hmm..." She looked to the salesman. "What do you think?"
"I think you should consider this one," he replied. "It's in your price range, and it fits the criteria you gave us."
Mai looked back and studied the tuxedo. "I suppose it would fit in well with the theme," she said thoughtfully, then smiled. "We'll take it!"
"More like I'll take it," Joey muttered.
"What was that?" Mai asked.
"Uh.... Don't forsake it?" Joey replied nervously.
"Hmm... Joey's right. Don't make any mistakes during the alterations," she said to the man, who rolled his eyes.
"We know, Ma'am."
Mai walked over and hugged Joey. "It's perfect! Thank you for being so patient with me, Joey," she said while pulling back some.
Joey was quiet, then smiled slightly, happy to see she was happy with the selection. "No problem, Mai."
"Now to find some matching shoes, and something has GOT to be done about your hair, Joey," she began.
Joey stared, then groaned, knowing he was in for a long day.

A/N: I haven't watched Yu-Gi-Oh in a while, so I apologize if Mai and Joey were out of character. Hope it gave people a laugh or two.
