Author's Note:Chapter one is short for a reason . The next chapters will be longer .The story starts off after the events of Naruto The Last and lead up to pre-Boruto era .Thankyou and enjoy the fic .
Sasuke ran through forest with one goal in mind . He had longed to see his beloved and he didn't care what it would take to accomplish his goal .He had knew that it was risky to be out late at night during the late night patrols the Anbu and other Leaf Jounin tended to do in outskirts of the village .
'Naruto I'm coming . . .I'm coming back for you' Sasuke thought to himself as he gripped his arm tightly. His pace had slowed down as the pain from his wound slowed him down .
Determined to get to his destination, he tried to pick up his pace and began running again, running as far as he could ignoring the sharp pain in his arm leaving a trail of blood behind as he was getting closer and closer to the village .
Sasuke's eyes widened in excitement as he saw the familiar gates of Kohonagakure just up ahead .
'Almost there!' he dragged himself farther, feeling weak from all of the blood lost. The pain had numbed and he began feeling dizzy as his vision slowly blurred. 'I've got to going I can't . . .'
Suddenly Sasuke collapsed to the ground in exhaustion breathing heavily .
"Naruto..." he said quietly before darkness took over, the last thing he saw were the gates to Konoha in front of him .
