So i'm having some writers block finishing a one-shot about Puck & Rachel, & just thought i'd write this little one shot that came to my head.
Matts thoughts if he had heard the conversation between Tyler & Caroline after Jules had captured her in "Daddy Issues"
She looked at herself in the mirror, covered in blood. Her own blood for once. Before tonight she hadn't truely believed Damons tirads about how evil werewolves were, before tonight that was. They'd done such awful things to her, just to get to Tyler. She was Collateral damage to them and for that she despised werewolves.
She was shaken from her thoughts by her phone going off, without looking at the caller id she answered.
"hi" She greeted distractedly
"hey, did something happen" Matt asked on the other end, she mentally hit herself in the head, she had forgotton all about Matt.
"I am so sorry matt" she rushed out her apology
"are you okay" He had been concerned when she hadn't shown up like she promised
"yeah something came up with bonnie and she needed me, a friend thing, you understand" Even tho there was shakyness in her voice he probley would have believed her, if it wasn't for the fact he was staring at Bonnie right now
"so you with her right now" he asked hoping to catch her in her lie and make her confess the truth, what she had been hiding from him for awhile now.
"Yeah, i'm not gonna..." He heard her scream and a thud, he assumed she had dropped the phone, he began to worry but then he heard her talking, not to him but to whoever had scared her
"What do you want Tyler" Matt rolled his eyes of course it was Tyler, he listened in for more of the conversation
"Are you okay" Matt wondered what had happened to make Tyler think Caroline wasn't okay
"I'm fine"
"I had no idea they would come for you" This caught Matts attention, who were they
Caroline spoke up and he could here the fear in her voice "Do you know what they did to me"
Matt was seeing red, somebody had hurt his Caroline, and Tyler his old best friend had let them
"I'm sorry, but it's crazy now okay I don't know who to trust, you lied to me" Even through the phone Matt could tell Tyler sounded lost and confused
"I lied to protect my friends, I lied to protect you, don't you get that" Caroline sounded angrier then he'd ever heard her before, Tyler had obviously done something horrible
"Caroline.."
"You just stood there, when they were going to kill us, you just stood there, you didn't do anything" Matt froze, kill, what the hell had Caroline and Tyler gotton themselves mixed up in
"I didn't know what to do"
"You help your friend, that's what you do" She sounded sad, and exhausted
"I'm sorry" he heard Tyler say for the second time
"It's to late, because were not friends anymore, and what happened to me tonight will never happen to me again so you take that back to your little werewolf pack and you get the hell out of my house"
Matt heard Caroline slam the door, he assumed in Tylers face. Suddenly he realised something
