Percy and Annabeth were exhausted. After all, spending gods know how long in Tartarus fighting monsters will do that to a person. So, after they spent some time reuniting with their friends, the two took some much needed alone time in Percy's room on board the Argo II. As soon as they got inside, Percy wrapped his arms around his girlfriend's waist in a tight hug and let her bury her face in the crook of his neck.

"We made it, Seaweed Brain," she said into his shoulder. "We're alive."

"Of course we made it, Wise Girl. We always do, don't we?"

"Yeah, I guess we do."

And with that, they walked over to the bed and sat down beside each other, Annabeth leaning on Percy's chest. Without a word, she reached up and ran her fingers through his messy black hair and tilted her chin up to kiss him. He responded immediately, happy to finally be back in a safe (enough) place with the girl he was so deeply in love with.

Quickly, it became more intense, and Annabeth pulled herself up so she was sitting on his lap, her hands pulling through his hair, his wrapped tightly around her back.

But of course, with their luck, the door opened right at that moment, revealing none other than the son of Hephaestus himself, Leo Valdez, standing in the frame looking somewhat shocked. He got over that quickly, however, and burst into a fit of laughter.

"Oh gods, haha! Well, I would tell you to get a room, but it looks like you've already got one."

"Leo!" Annabeth scolded after she got off of Percy and stood up

"What's going on down here?" they heard Jason's voice from down the hall. "Did something happen?"

"Well, I just caught Percy and Annabeth over here in the middle of quite the make-out session," Leo laughed.

"Oh my gods, would you shut up?" Percy was turning beet red by this point.

But of course, by now, the rest of the crew was wondering what the commotion was and had come down and were asking Leo, who happily provided his (slightly more explicit) version of what happened.

"Okay, that's it," Annabeth muttered before shouting as loud as her voice would allow. "Everybody OUT!"

In no time, the other teenagers scrambled out of the room, none of them wanting to risk the anger of the daughter of Athena.

"There we go," she said with a sigh as she turned back to her boyfriend. "Maybe we can get some time to ourselves now."

"I doubt it, not with all of them around," Percy grinned, his face back to its normal colour. He grabbed Annabeth's hand and pulled her back on to the bed. "Now where were we?"

"Gods, you're cheesy," she smiled as she pressed her lips to his.
