Shortly afterwards a one-night-stand with Hong Kong, China gave birth to a pair of twins.
One of them was female, the other one male. China named them Xin Hai and Xin Qi respectively, and he gave them a small, non-existent kingdom on an island to rule.
While the twins were taking a ferry to that island, a strong wave made the ferry rock back and forth. The motion of the ferry made Xin Qi lose his balance and fall off the ferry.
Even though he cried and splashed around a lot, nobody noticed his absence.
Five years later, the body of a young boy washed up on the shores of the island. The boy was very much alive. Since Xin Hai, the princess of the island, didn't have a butler, the boy was made into her servant.
Of course, Xin Hai knew that the boy was her long lost twin, but she didn't tell anyone.
