I Do Not Own Harry Potter, I did, then all the people in this story would be alive.
I do not own the song Who You'd be Today. If I did. I would be rich and famous.
Sunny days seem to hurt the most
Wear the pain like a heavy coat
They say remembering the good times helps the pain, but sometimes remembering just wasn't enough.
I feel you everywhere I go
I see your smile, I see your face
Harry could still remember the look on Sirius's face as he disappeared behind the veil, and Dumbledore's anguished cries as he was forced to live his worst memory. He could still see Remus and Tonks bodies, almost sleeping, and hear Severus's last words.
I hear you laughing in the rain
Still can't believe you're gone
Fred's laugh echoed through his mind. He shook his head, trying to rid his memory of thing he wanted to block out.
It ain't fair you died too young
Like a story that had just begun
Cedric had been the first casualty of the Second War. He was never able to graduate. Harry's parents had never been able to see him grow up.
The death tore the pages all away
God knows how I miss you
All the hell that I've been through
Colin Creevey, had also died on that tragic day. He always had a camera in his hand, and had survived many dangerous situations. Not the last one.
Just knowing no one could take your place
Sometimes I wonder who you'd be today
He had often wondered, what would they be doing if they had lived. Remus and Tonks would probably be talking to the Ministry about Werewolf Rights. Hermione's already doing that, though. After the war, she had dropped S.P.E.W and had moved to werewolves. Currently she was arguing for, Remus's Law.
Would you see the world?
Would you chase your dreams?
Fred would, most defiantly, be working in the joke shop along side his twin. Mad-eye would be (not so) happily living out the rest of his days in his home, talking about the war, and barking "Constant Vigilance!" to unsuspecting passerby.
Settle down with a family?
I wonder, what would you name your babies?
Sirius would have probably settled down, like Remus, after finding the girl of his dreams. Dobby would still be working in the Hogwarts kitchens, maybe popping by for a visit now and then.
Some days the sky's so blue
I feel like I can talk to you
And I know it might sound crazy
Sometimes, he wondered; if they were watching him. Could they see that everything he did was for them? Were they proud of him?
Today, Today, Today Sunny days seem to hurt the most
Today, Today, Today
I wear the pain like a heavy coat
The sun was shining, it was ironic actually, considering what day it was, but of course, the weather doesn't care what day it is.
The only thing that gives me hope
Is I know I'll see you again someday
Harry walked down the street, exactly a year after the Final Battle, with a smile on his face. Someday he would see them again, but that was along time from now.
Someday, SomedayI love this song, and when I listened to it, I immediaetly thought of Harry Potter.
Push the little purple button in the corner now.
