This is another take on my story. Probably the one I'm going to finish first, or finish at all. I don't own winx club, which is soo, unfair, but unfortunately true.
Chapter one
A gentle breeze blew through the open window. Lucas Manner was alive with happiness. Outside was clear, a crisp summer night. Through the trees that surrounded the manner was a small, winding path, with three turn off's. If any one wanted to escape they could do so easily by choosing to take the right turn off. Fairy lights were struined everywhere. In a pink room a young girl sat crying. Tears streamed down her face. Her hair tumbled in brown ringlet's down her back. After a while her sobs died down, realizing that she only had about twenty minutes left to get ready she strode towards her vanity.
Opening the door a tall man with long black hair proceeded towards her. His smile was sickening, more of a sneer.
"Are you ready now Hope?" Hissing her name he grabbed her arm pulling her along.
"Of course James." Hope kept her voice polite, grinning a fake smile.
James dragged her half way down a winding staircase, before pulling her beside him. Slowly, gracefully, they descended down the stairs.
"Don't mess this up Hope, this time I can actually kill you mother; that lowlife!" Hope looked up at James. As scared as she was she wasn't going to let him hurt her mother-Miss Faragonda. Plus knowing James he would kill anyone who came with her, and any one who got in his way. Hope knew that he would be worse than normal. James despised any thing that had to do with her mum. She had to turn from blonde to brown with magic. She remembered vaguely what her mum looked like; and she cherished those memories of the times that she got to spend with her mother.
Hopes pov.
As we reached the bottom step of the staircase the ballroom came into view. Lights were strung everywhere. Two big oak wooden doors opened up to reveal a band playing while women in Victorian style dresses danced with men. James went one way to talk to a few friends. Looking across the room it was then that I first saw her, my mother. She looked beautiful in a white dress. Before I could think I started to walk over to them. As I came to a stop in front of them they spun around to look at me. Looking into a glass door I saw that, my hair had turned back to its original colour- blonde! Gasps erupted from the group. I knew what they where seeing; Miss Faragonda's face in mine. Mum stepped forwards hands outstretched.
"Hope?" She whispered. I nodded smiling slightly. There really was no point in hiding it since it was so totally obvious. Enclosing me in a hug she started to cry, it set me off; finally I had met my mother. Looking at the others, realization dawned on their faces. Laughing I wiped my tears away.
