Challenge Naruto x Highschool DxD
My challenge revolves around a Naruto that is born and based in the DxD universe. It is partly inspired by Itachi from Naruto and the Hellen Keller quote, "Walking with a friend in the dark is better than walking alone in the light."
Basic Premise/Conditions:
Naruto has a family with a dad, mom, and younger sister. (can be OC or canon based for parents)
His parents are AWOL exorcists (for what reason is up to you).
This also results in Naruto having a basic knowledge of the magical world.
Naruto's parents are killed by the angel faction in an effort to prevent the spread of the information they know or by the devil/fallen angel faction due to their previous connection to the angel faction. Whoever the attackers are, they believe they have killed the entire family.
As the parents die, their final words to Naruto are to "protect your sister." THIS FINAL MESSAGE DETERMINES HIS FUTURE.
Naruto knows he must gains a lot of power, but knows that with his parents' deaths he lacks any sources of teaching/knowledge.
This results in:
Naruto joining a peerage (the only way he knows how to begin gaining power quickly) and literally selling his soul to the devil.
On a side note, his inspiration for this is to gain power to protect his sister, not because he likes or cares about the devil peerage he joins (at least initially).
After some time and gaining significant power, he becomes a stray as he no longer wants to be controlled by someone else (more difficult to protect his sister or for a plausible reason).
Does so by either killing his master or simply leaving.
From this point on, all details are left to the writer. Sister can be OC or not, Naruto can have a sacred gear or not, depends on how you want to write the story.
I think it is important to note that his relationship with his sister would be troubled. He basically left her behind to gain power, albeit in order to protect her, and they didn't communicate often. I know this may seem harsh or illogical, but Naruto understands that as long as she is close to him she is in danger. His sister would be placed under the protection of one of his parent's few remaining friends in the angel faction.
Naruto is not an openly nice or caring guy, he does what is necessary to accomplish his duty, protecting his sister. Similar to Itachi, he does what he believes he must, even though it may not be immediately beneficial to his sibling. He is walking in darkness for his friend, or in this case his sister. Naruto can change over time and I hope he does through good character development, but at least originally he is single minded and fairly cold. Finally, no main Yaoi pairings.
I know this is pretty specific and feel free to make some changes, but I would like for the story to be as close to the details listed in the beginning. As it progress, please change it to your heart's desire.
