-The Truthful Beginning-

Hello, everyone. I am Ryan, the narrator of this story. Today we have a story of four people who teamed up together to find the secrets and truths of their pasts. The events that happen here today and as we go along were important within the history of music and Japan. This is the beginning. Welcome to the lives of these four people who were destined to share a different fate.

"What happened? I have to protect the future!", "Where is this place, I'm not where I wanted to be." said an unknown man.

"Well, well, well! Is somebody stuck again?" said another unknown person.

"You again! I thought I had you eliminated, Ryan!", said the unknown man again.

"Wow! You thought you could eliminate me, Uken?", said Ryan angrily.

"Your inconsiderate games! They're so foolish and bitter. Your tricks are crazy, I'm tired of all of this nonsense. Soon, someday maybe someone will show you!", said Uken

"What are you going to do about it? I rule the shades of light and darkness. The 'monochrome' that surrounds us like if it where a wave of happiness and sadness. This is the bitter agony and pain. This is how we begin and this is how we end, born brightly and engulfed in darkness in the end for eternity. And I will keep it like this!", said Ryan in a very detailed manner.

After this explanation a battle began. Uken was angry. He wanted to kill Ryan. But then out of nowhere a ray of light came and separated the two. Uken had been swallowed by the darkness. And Ryan had come out alive. Oddly enough. Darkness had won this war!

As the days continued; darkness had kept itself hidden and shadowed while everyone enjoyed their lives, just waiting to release itself. Hokkaido's best students: Hatsune Miku, Len Kagamine, Rin Kagamine and Megurine Luka were graduating junior high and turning 16. They were going to start their lives. But little did they know, that one night would change their lives forever... It shows that such naïve, loving and unsophisticated hearts would have to show the purity of emotion. The purity and blinding light that burnt throughout their hearts.
