Voldemort at Halloween

Lord Voldemort chuckled to himself as he admired his reflection in the dusty mirror in the hallway. He looked more terrifying than he had ever looked before in his life and, for him, that was quite an achievement.

"Wormtail!" he rasped in his quiet, but perfectly audible voice.

"Yes, Master?" squeaked Wormtail as he skidded around the corner to meet his master.

"How do I look?" enquired Voldemort as he fingered the hem of his cloak admiringly.

As Voldemort turned around to show himself to his servant, Wormtail's face drained of its entire colour as the true horror of his master's appearance was exposed; Voldemort was dressed in black trousers, a white ruffle shirt and red bow tie. A black cloak was draped around his skinny frame and his teeth were unnaturally sharp and pointed, protruding over his bottom lip.

Wormtail screamed and cowered away from his master in fright.

"Excellent! Just the reaction I was going for, Wormtail!" Voldemort exclaimed, turning, yet again, to admire his reflection.

"B-but Master..." stuttered Wormtail, daring to take a quick glance upwards. "Forgive me, My Lord but…What are you doing?"

"What am I doing?" repeated Voldemort incredulously. "Why, it's Halloween, Wormtail! Do you expect me to let my favourite time of year go by uncelebrated?"

"N-No! Of course not, Master!" tittered Wormtail, wondering what on Earth his Master was up to this time!

"As you can tell, Wormtail, I am Count. Dracula, a world-famous vampire! My plan is for you and I to go out trick-or-treating around the Muggle towns. If any fool dares not to hand over all of their sweets, I will Avada Kedavra them into oblivion!" he cackled insanely.

Wormtail groaned. Why did this plan have "Disaster" written all over it?
