He wasn't here for conquest, not of this world anyway. Sure, it seemed like he was, but that was the plan all along, despite what he had told the little spider. To think they could out-trick the god of mischief, the notion was laughable. Yet they did anyway, their pride and egos kept them from any real speculation, just the way he liked it. The army was coming, his army, and they would fail. Spectacularly, in a firefight, creating just that much more chaos to throw this realm off it's axis.

He smirked down at the trouble snaking its way through the city, what a glorious day. The screams of citizens below filled his ears, interrupted frequently by the tearing of metal, what a wonderful cacophony, a symphony, unparalleled by even the greatest musicians. Too bad it was going to have to come to and end. He shrugged, striding towards the edge of Stark's tower, jumping upon an alien craft. His magic flowed out of him like raging rapids, he fried and zapped and impaled all sorts of matter, occasionally living matter. The casualties had to be kept down somewhat, he must not be executed, only taken to Asgard for punishment, with that thought in his mind, he decided against spearing the pesky mortal woman in front of him.

His hands were chained, his mouth muzzled, yet he couldn't help but smirk before smothering it with a look of pure hatred for Thor. His perfect brother. Too bad they had failed, they were taking him back to Asgard, right where he wanted to be. The fools! A gleeful feeling shot up from the depths of his very being, bubbling inside him, it was not happiness, for it was too wicked to be such a thing, no, it was the feeling of pure chaos about to be unleashed. The tesseract zapped them up to Asgard, and with one last look to Midgard, the oaf and himself were off.

A/N Okay, so somewhere I read the theory of how Loki won. I found it extremely interesting, and probably true. I told my comic book geek dad and he said it sounded exactly like Loki, so then I just wrote this piece. If you find the article please tell me so I can give credit where it is due and maybe a link so everyone can see it. So, shall I continue the story? Or leave it at this short piece? If enough people want me to continue, I will! Thank you all so much for reading, if you feel obliged to have me continue, please leave a review or message me! :)
