Ask And Answer

I see your troubled face

and know something is troubling you.

I lean forward and watch your face intently

To see is this the case.

I catch your stare

And you roll your eyes

My mouth twitches fighting a smile

And your nostrils flare.

Then my brow creases

And I grow serious

You're anguish melts

And my worry ceases.

I open my mouth to question

But you shake your head

Dismissing my query

And arch an eyebrow in suggestion

I sigh in relief

But then see that glint in your eye

My skin warms all over

You rob all my senses you thief

Then I realises we haven't spoke once

That all this ask and answer was done with our expressions

You take my hand tentively and I kiss you in response.
