Hey guys! This is my indie winter camp rock awards story
Face Angel
"Come on Shane. Really?" Mitchie said.
"What?" Shane asked. But it was muffled by the snow so it sounded like 'Wherf?'. He pulled his head out from the snow and said, "It's creative."
Mitchie giggled. "Whatever. Come on, help me finish this snowman."
Shane got up and stood in front of the half built snowman- which looked like three big snowballs on top of each other.
"What does it need?" he asked.
"How about a carrot? You know, for the nose. And some rocks."
Shane went inside and came back with a little small carrot. "There." He said, putting it in the middle of the smallest snowball.
"Okay. What about the rocks?" Mitchie asked her boyfriend.
Shane went and came back 5 minutes later. "Couldn't find rocks but I found these gummy bears." He handed them to Mitchie and she giggled while placing them in the small snowball for the eyes, mouth and buttons.
"And here's the scarf." Mitchie took off Shane's scarf and tied it around where the snowman's neck would be.
"And here's the hat." Shane said, taking off Mitchie's hat and placing it on the snowman's head.
"Oh no you didn't." Mitchie said.
"Oh yes I di-id." Shane retorted, dragging out the 'id' in 'did'.
Mitchie giggled and bent down to pick up some snow. She then plopped it on Shane's hair.
"It's an improvement." She told him.
Shane picked up some snow and put it down her coat.
Soon they were in an all-out snow fight.
"Whoa!" Someone exclaimed. "Don't hit me."
They both turned to see Nate, Jason, and Caitlyn.
"She started it!" Shane said, pointing to Mitchie, at the same time that Mitchie said, "He started it!" and pointing to him.
"I don't care who started it." Caitlyn said. "But I'm gonna finish it." She picked up a snowball and threw it at Shane, hitting him in the forehead.
Everyone- Mitchie, Nate, Jason, and Caitlyn- were throwing snow at Shane.
30 minutes later and Shane was covered in snow on the ground. All you could see of him was his head.
Mitchie sat down on him. "Loser." She said.
"I surrender." He replied.
"Hey, this is cool." Nate said.
"Yeah I know." Mitchie replied.
"No, not Shane. This." He said, pointing to Shane's earlier creation.
They all got up and walked to where he was pointing, including Shane.
"Yeah, this is cool." Jason started. "What are you going to call this… snow angel thing?"
They were all looking at where Shane had face-planted into the snow and moved his arms like he was making a snow angel.
"Um…." Shane started. "Face angel."
Everyone said they liked it so they decided on calling it that.
"Kids!" Connie called. "Hot chocolate's ready!"
"Yay! Maybe it'll warm me up." Mitchie said.
"I can warm you up." Shane told her, leaning down and pressing his lips to hers.
Mitchie giggled and smiled into the kiss, kissing him back.
"Um… guys." Caitlyn said. "Hate to break up your- well actually I don't hate to break it up- moment but there's something you should know."
"What?" They both asked their friend.
"You forgot to put arms on your snowman."
Everyone giggled and went to get hot chocolate, deciding to put the arms on later.
