It's not raining. In books and movies, it always rains when someone dies. The sky is always overcast, mirroring the emotions of the people below. Mourning as well for the lost soul.
It's not raining.
It's sunny.
Beautiful, for any normal day.
But today, it just hurts.
It's as if the sun is mocking us. Daring us to have a funeral. Daring us to bury someone on a day so glorious. On a day when children run through the parks. On a day when everyone else in the world is happy for the sun.
But today, it's not raining.
And it still hurts.
