Prologue
Abby
and Carter split up when he went off to Africa. While he was gone
Abby had a serious relationship with Luka. Abby and Luka left Chicago
and moved to Detriot, Michigan. When Abby got pregant she ran back to
Chicago. She wasn't sure how Luka would react. Its now 5 years later
and Carter has finally returned. Carter has a plan to propose to Abby
but he's not sure if she would take him back.
Dylan Abby's son is
5 years old. Dylan is deaf. Abby really wants a relationship with
Carter only he dosn't know. What will the future
bring?
Chapter 1
Abby
stepped out of the warm hospital and into the cold ambulance bay. She
saw Carter and walked over to him.
"hey" said
Abby.
"Hey, what you doing it out here its freezing"
asked Carter.
"I've got to go pick up Dylan at Day-Care"
replied Abby.
"Oh"
"You seem troubled what is
wrong"
"um... are you free Friday night" asked
Carter.
"Like on a date" asked Abby " Sure if i can
find a babysitter who can do sign language"
"So i guess
you don't get out much do you?" asked Carter.
Abby looks down
at her watch and waves bye to carter " see you Friday night at
7pm"
"Okay" Carter yells back at Abby.
He stands
there until he sees Abby disappear around the corner.
