As time passes by, the more she is drawn into those deep obsidian eyes. It was then that she managed to look away and give out an unbelieving laugh.

He stared at her in confusion; one fine brow was raised.

She rested her face unto her palm, smiled and said…

"I thought I can never look away."

As corny as it is, he actually found it flattering. Pick-up lines do sound SO flattering when it's said by her. He tried to hide the growing blush with a frown.

Frown, scowl, glare, pout, smile, surprise, pout… every expression looks good on him. She bit her lip and exhaled through her nose.

She doesn't have a single idea why God gave him to her. Out of all the women in this earth…

He chose her.

She wasn't special. She doesn't have the beauty he deserves, the body, the talent, the intelligence… and definitely she's not from a wealthy family.

She almost scratched her head.

What in the name of kittens happened?

He looked at her wondering eyes. He smirked. She's probably asking God again. He scoffed and… kissed her softly.

That brought her back to reality like a fish pulled out from water. She unconsciously touched her lips.

Yeah, he's definitely charming.

"Will you stop that?" came his annoyed voice.

She raised a brow, "Huh?"

He sighed.

"Stop wondering and asking why you became my girlfriend, will you?"

Her eyes widened, "Oh."

But then, she smiled teasingly.

"Forgive me but I can't help it."

He looked at her.

"Seriously, you need to stop that."

"Hmm?" she poked his cheek with her index finger. He caught her hand and brought it to his lips.

"May I know why, Sasuke?" she softly asked.

He only shrugged and said as if it's the most obvious and natural thing in the world.

"I love you, it's that simple."
