Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter :(

Harry,

Thanks, thanks a lot. Thanks to you, all I do nowadays is sit around; sit around and cry. They say no man is worth your tears, and the one who is won't make you cry. I thought you were the only one worth my tears, but I guess you're not.

A man worth my tears wouldn't cheat on me…he wouldn't leave me for that skank Parvati Patil. You know, it's funny. You'd think after the Yule Ball experience, she would have learned better. She would have learned that you, Harry Potter, are an insensitive jerk. You know, maybe someday she'll leave you again for another Durmstrang guy. Maybe then, you'll come crawling back to me. But it'll be too late then Harry. You'll never get me back. I'll always love you Harry. But I have some dignity. You cheated; your loss. I trusted you, Harry. I gave you my heart; but you broke it, you lost my trust. I never want to see you again.

Love,

Your Gin-Bear

Ginny looked at the letter she had just written and cried. She loved Harry, and knew she couldn't send it.

A few days later, Ginny received a letter by a very familiar-looking snowy owl.

To my dearest Gin-Bear,

Hello sweetheart. I know you probably don't want to talk since I left. But I need you to know why I did. I love you. I'm trying to protect you…sure Voldemort's gone, but many Death Eaters are still out there. They want revenge. They want me dead, Gin. And I know they would do anything to hurt me, including hurting you. They know that if anything happened to you that it'd break my heart. That's why I left, to get rid of suspicions.

You still probably wonder why I'm with Parvati then. It's because I don't love her. As strange as it may sound, it's true. She's just a cover-up. Honestly, I think she's a whore. She'll never mean a thing to me. Not as much as you mean to me. You're the only one I'll ever care about, at least this deeply. I wish you'll forgive me, Gin. But I'll understand if you don't. I love you, Ginny.

With all my love,

Your Harry

Ginny couldn't believe this was happening. She wanted to run to Harry. Have him hold her and never let go. But she knew she couldn't. She had sworn to herself that she wouldn't take him back. She couldn't go back on that, as much as she wanted to. She had her dignity.

Ginny was tempted to send her original letter, but decided on writing a new one.

Harry,

No you don't! You don't love me! I'm not a little girl anymore, Harry! I'm almost 19. You don't need to "protect me" anymore. But if you really do want to "protect me," you'd keep away from me. You coming back will only bring back more and more pain. Please leave me alone, Harry. If you really love me, you'll stay away.

From,

Ginny

Harry received a letter from Ginny about an hour after he sent one to Ginny. Harry read it and was in disbelief. The woman he loved didn't want anything to do with him. A tear escaped Harry's eye before he could stop it. Harry wanted to go to Ginny, kiss her, and try to make everything better. But as the saying goes, "If you love someone, you have to let them go." Harry did love Ginny, she said "stay away," so Harry knew what he had to do.

Ginny,

As you wish.

Harry
