Hey first fan fic writer here. I'm more of a reader but we'll see how it goes. By the way italics is the characters thoughts and the underlined italics are the voices in her head. Yes, it's a her. Deal with it.

Disclaimer: you know there really isn't a point of doing these. If I was the rich author why would I be on fan fiction?

It wasn't my fault. He made me mad and how is my problem that my mom's a freaking monster? I mean it's clearly Athena's fault I even inherited my mom's annoying hair and creepy eyes. Good thing my powers could be reversed (but only if I want them to be), but it didn't matter because I still had to go to this dumb camp on Long Island.

Now honey, it won't be that bad. One of the little beings said soothingly. You might even make some friends.

I snorted and thought sarcastically, Right and the gods will bow down to me. Face it Queen, I won't make friend in a camp full of half-bloods. Even with the monsters I'm a freak. I heard a small sigh from Queen, and the rest of the ride was pretty quiet except for the cab driver messing with the radio stations.

I was absently staring out the window as Queen gave me a lecture on making friends and other stuff I've heard a million times. I must have dozed off because the next thing I knew was the driver asking me if we were in the right place because it looked little deserted. I looked out and saw a field of strawberries and a hill with a pine tree on top.

"Yeah, this is the place." He looked at me oddly then shrugged deciding not to argue. I waited until he was gone, then took off my angels cap and muttered "Behave, or I'll put you in a braided bun." They wiggled a bit then were silent. I waited until there were soft hisses of agreement drifted though my mind. I carefully covered them with my hat. The man waited to hand me my bags and when I had paid, drove off. I took a deep breath, adjusted my Jacket and made sure my hat was right before trudging up the hill and across the border. I had permission from Uncle Chiron to be able to cross the borders. Good thing otherwise I'd be out here all summer. The few year round campers I passed looked at me curiously before going back to their activities. So far so good, I thought pounding on the big house door.

Hey Peoples! Please R&R. The little button needs someone to click on it. =) Constructive criticism is great. And I really don't care about flames so flame away.

Luv, Compli
