"Mummy, will you tell me a bedtime story?"
"Yes, sweetie, I will. Which one?"
"The one about the little girl and the stars!"
"Alright. Once upon a time there was a little girl who wanted nothing more than to travel among the stars. She grew up visiting planetariums and science museums, and wanted to grow up and become an astronaut. But her Mummy and Daddy wanted her to become a doctor, and she decided she would do that, because it was a sensible thing to do. When she grew up, she stood under the stars one night, remembering her wish of travelling the stars. When she turned to walk inside—because it was very cold that night—she was confronted by a strange man with a strange craft behind him. He was an alien! Right in front of her! He offered for her to join him and travel, and she stepped inside his spaceship without any hesitation. And so the little girl became a young woman, who traveled the stars."
"Mummy can I travel the stars one day?"
"You can do anything you want, little one. Now sleep tight. You've school tomorrow."
"Okay, Mummy. Goodnight. I love you."
"Goodnight, Martha. I love you."
