Glaring at glared at his soaking wet friend. Jack grumbled, "Don't even THINK about asking to go back there, Daniel." He hobbled down the ramp, groaning with each step and favoring his right leg.
"Please, don't," Carter practically begged and she rubbed at the growing red rash on her neck.
"I believe it would be most unwise," Teal'c added as he waved away an approaching SF. "Touching me or anything on me would also be unwise. I am covered with an extremely glutinous substance."
One of the SF's, a young kid obviously new to the base, stepped forward to take Jack's weapons. The annoyed glare on the intimidating colonel's face caused to him to scramble to the side to get out of his way.
And step right into Teal'c's path.
"Son-of-a-bitch!" Jack muttered as the scene play out before him. The stumbling SF collided with Teal'c causing them to stick together. Teal'c lost his balance and they both crashed to the Gate Room floor. They landed in a very . . . compromising position.
Jack looked up to see Hammond looking down from the control room, a small smile on his face. "Welcome home, SG-1. I'm sure this will be an . . . interesting debrief."
THE END
Author's Notes: Double length drabble in response to the stargatedrabbles list's March 25th '09 challenge: The team returns to the base through the gate. One is soaking wet. One has a terrible rash. One groans with every step. One is covered with something sticky, that the rest have to keep away from lest they end up glued as well. What happened? Unbeta'ed.
