This is a one-shot series that is a companion to my main "The Night Shift" fanfiction: Kayla Callahan, and Little Callahan, my other "The Night Shift" companion one-shots. This series takes place during the show's timeline, but will take place between different time periods. The one-shots will include original characters such as Kayla and Wes, as well as various Night Shift characters. For those wondering if Thad will be in this one-shot series, he will not be (he is, however, in Little Callahan quite a bit).
There will be funny scenes, fluffy scenes, angsty scenes, sad scenes, and all other types of scenes. And because I love Kayla/TC's brother/sister relationship, there will be plenty of fluffy/comfort scenes with just the two of them. While Kayla and Wes have not made it past base 1 in the main story, when they do finally get to that point, all smutty scenes that coincide with a main story chapter will be posted here in the same week as the other chapter. Other scenes may just be random. There will also be plenty of Bentley.
So far, my plans are to continue with Kayla Callahan until the show ends (which I know for a fact isn't for at least another season-woohoo Season 4 releases in 3 months!). This one-shot series will be written alongside Kayla and end when the show ends as well. I will continue writing the prequel, Little Callahan, and plan on writing a sequel after the show ends.
