Author's Note: I really don't think Sora all that naïve. I think he knows what he's doing just pretending he didn't. Especially after Chain of Memories did I notice the switch of character

Sora didn't like Riku, let's get that one thing straight. He like Kairi and her smiling face and those pretty blue eyes that would never betray you. The way she put her hands behind her back and lean forward so you knew she was giving you all her attention. He certainly didn't find anything attractive about Riku.
(Certainly he didn't find Riku's green eyes memorizing and that long white hair didn't make Sora want to run his hands through it. He certainly didn't want to press his body against Riku while he whisper sweet nonsense into his ears. And he defiantly didn't want Riku to stop talking for once in his life and use that tongue for better uses. Like licking up and down Sora's hot throbbing-)
And don't try to bring up the incident to prove your point. Sora was just confuse, shock and just happy to know his best friend was alive and not dead. If Kairi hadn't been on the island and he hadn't seen her for a year and she magically came back, Sora would be on his hands and kneels thanking whoever brought her back. Riku wasn't special to Sora at all.
(When he was asleep in the gummi ship quarters he certainly didn't have problems with nightmares of Riku being killed by his own darkness. He didn't blame himself for not trying to save Riku before all of this happen. He didn't want to grab onto any form of evidence to Riku whereabouts in this large world. And he certainly didn't have to hold back tears when all evidence prove to be false.)
And he didn't favor Riku at all, He treat him like he treat all his friends. He worried about him that's all. Was it really that bad to wonder where the hell your friends disappear too? And he didn't like Riku. He liked Kairi and he was sticking to it. Sure, there were times when Riku and Sora were a little bit comfortable with being press next to each other, but that because they were close and that's it.
(It wasn't because he wanted Riku to look at him with interest. It wasn't that he wish Riku would turn his head away from Kairi for once and realize that Sora liked him more. It wasn't cause he wanted to spill his whole heart out to Riku and finally press those lips against him. It wasn't because he wanted to roll his tongue against Riku until a moan hit the back of his throat. He didn't want those hands to work their selves around his waist and ease themselves up his shirt and squeeze one of his erect nipples-)
Sora wasn't in denial, okay.
(He was just in denial about his feelings for Riku)
