One day when Harry was 5, James went out for the day to get supplies. The only person that James could get to babysit Harry was one of his best friends, Sirius Black. He had asked his other best friend Remus Lupin but he couldn't do as it was a full moon that night and he was extremely tired.

It was about 8 o'clock in the morning when there was a knock at the door. James got up to answer it after he made sure Harry was eating his toast. He opened the door to find Sirius standing there. This confused James greatly as Sirius usually just barges in to his house.

"Uh, Sirius?" James said slowly.

"Yeah?"

"Why are you at the door?" James asked confused

"Well since it's early, I thought you might still be asleep" replied Sirius

This comment made James pull out hid wand and point it at Sirius' heart.

"Prongs mate what are you doing?" asked a confused Sirius

"Checking it's really you, what did we do in 5th year?"

"We became illegal animagi to help our friend Remus Lupin who is a werewolf with his transformations, I became a grim like dog and you became a stag, hence the nicknames Padfoot and Prongs, Moony if you count Remus too.

"Okay, okay just checking, come in, come in, I'm sure Harry will be happy to see you"

"I hope he is I haven't seen him in-"

Before Sirius could finish his sentence, he was nearly knocked over by a whirl of black hair.

"PADFOOT!" exclaimed Harry, Sirius picked Harry up and spun him around.

"You ready for a day full of fun?" Sirius asked his super happy godson

"YEAH! YEAH! YEAH! YEAH!" Harry shouted over and over again

Once James was sure Sirius knew what he had to do he, reluctantly, left Sirius on his own with Harry.

"So what do you wanna do first?" Godfather asked Godson

"I wanna make cookies!" replied Harry enthusiastically

Sirius agreed to this even though he didn't have the faintest idea of how to make cookies in the first place. Sirius led Harry to the kitchen and pulled out the things he thought he might need for cookies. He pulled out the flour, sugar, eggs, chocolate chips and butter. Sirius then got a large mixing bowl from the cupboard.

Sirius put a random amount of butter and sugar into the bowl and told Harry to make it look like bread crumbs, he then remembered the flour. He tried to open the pack it wouldn't work so he pulled harder and the bag ripped down the middle sending flour all over the place including him and Harry.

Harry seemed amused by it all, he thought getting covered in flour was great fun, little did he know he would have to have a bath later. Sirius looked at the clock on the kitchen wall and saw there was about three hours before James got home. That should be enough time to tidy up, Sirius thought.

First job- clean the kitchen – Failed miserably. Sirius left the chocolate chips in reach of Harry and now he had a hyper Harry on his hands who kept messing things up again after he tidied them. It took about an hour for him to do this.

Second job- clean Harry- Not an easy task, when Sirius mention bath time Harry ran away and hid, it took ten minutes to find him, another 10 to catch him and take him to the bathroom. Then there was the task of actually washing him, he soaked Sirius clothes which he thought was hilarious. By the time Sirius finished this task he was tired and he was glad to see Harry was as well.

They had about an hour 'till James got home, so Sirius took Harry downstairs and told him to play with his toys, Sirius was happy to have a little rest. After half an hour of playing with his toys Harry got up and went over to Sirius, he held his arms up in a motion to picked up. He cuddled in to Sirius and in seconds he was asleep Sirius followed soon after, this was how James found them when he got home 20minutes later. He took a photo to blackmail Sirius with later, or maybe he would give it to Harry when he was older, for now he would keep it in a photo album labeled 'Harry and Padfoot'
