Superheroes don't exisist in this universe. I like Mighty Med and all, but I don't want them around in this story.
Bree, Adam and Chase are watching a movie in the living room with Leo. Leo chose "The Green Mile" to prove how brave he was. It didn't work. Leo is cowering under his blanket on one of the chairs.
Chase is on the other chair, while Bree and Adam are on the couch sharing a blanket.
"I don't get it." Bree admits. "It's obvious that John didn't do it. So why won't they let him go?"
Chase gives his sister a, duh, look. "Because they haven't proven he didn't do it Bree. They haven't all seen what we have." He tells her in his regular condescending voice.
Bree sends him a glare, "Shut up Chase." Adam puts his arm around Bree and shoots a quick laser beam at Chase's arm. "Ow!" He howls while Bree and Adam chuckle.
"Is it over?" Leo asks when John watched "Top Hat" with the guards. "Pretty much." Adam guesses since most of the excitement is gone. Leo pokes his head up and smiles. "So, he'll be okay?"
The bionics shake their heads. Leo's face shows how scared he is.
After the movie is over, Leo is still crying. "He was innocent! And they still killed him! He wanted to die! Their cruelty made him accept death! And he didn't wear the hood! He was afraid of the daaaark!" He cries with tears on his cheeks. Everyone gets up to get ready to sleep. It's late and Davenport said they had to go to sleep right after the movie, to which they had all complained about, but agreed because they had school tomorrow.
"Well, night guys." Leo farwells as he hops to his room and the Bionics go downstairs.
"Okay lets all change and get into our capsules. We don't want to be any later than Davenport told us." Chase reminds them as he rushes to change. Bree and Adam roll their eyes. "He gets that Davenport isn't watching us right?" Bree asks.
Adam looks surprised, "He isn't? But then how does he know everything we do?"
"Chase tells him." Bree informs her older brother which just annoys both of them. Their brother is such a snitch, though he only rats out the parts about when "they" do something wrong. Never himself.
"Well we better get changed." Bree groans. She honestly is tired. She speeds off to go get changed and Adam sighs as she leaves before going to get changed himself.
They all get into their capsules and go to sleep.
The next morning, Adam and Chase wake up. "Hey, where's Bree?" Chase questions. Adam shrugs as they both get changed. Chase gets into a orange t-shirt and jeans. While Adam puts on a blue v-neck
with tight blue jeans. They take the elevator upstairs and see Bree blurring around Tasha in the kitchen.
"Okay, is everything ready?" Bree asks her step mom.
Tasha laughs at her eagereness, "I believe so."
"Oh hey Boys." Tasha greets.
"Bree helped me make breakfast." The Bionic guys, as well as Davenport and Leo who are walking downstairs, all stop in shock. "What?" Bree snaps.
"Well I ate air so I'm good." Chase announces snarkily. Adam punches his arm. "Just eat." All the guys walk to the table.
"So we have blueberry pancakes, bacon, and there's orange juice, apple juice, and coffee ready if you want any." Bree retains her large smile. She's never done anything like this before and she really wants to do it well.
Tasha sits down and everyone stares at the food, no one touching it. "Well, someone eat." Bree pushes. Adam looks around and, as recent events have proven, the bravest in the group, he decides to try it first. "I'll go."
Everyone turns to him. Not surprised as everyone knows he has a soft spot for Bree. Adam pours some syrup onto the pancakes and tries them. Everyone is staring in anticipation. "Bree…" he starts. "Yeah?" She asks; she's still excited. "Which IHOP did you get these from?" Bree squeals in excitement. "No, seriously." Bree scoffs and smacks his shoulder.
"Is it actually good?" Bree wants confirmation. "Yes, actually." At Adam's insistence, everyone starts eating and Bree sits down to eat too, a smile plastered on her face.
After they finish eating, the four kids head to school.
"Okay so, I have my advanced classes to get to because all of my classes are advanced." Chase gloats. He usually does this on Mondays.
"Hey how was your last gym mark?" Bree asks and Chase's grin drops and he glares walking away. Even Leo's better than him in gym class. It's something that they all find hilarious. Except for Chase of course.
"Well I better go check up with Janelle. My girlfriend." Leo smiles and runs off to find his new girlfriend.
A bell goes off.
"We should get to class. That bell gets angry when we're late and keeps going off." Adam tells her and Bree laughs but agrees. They head off but get screamed at.
"Hey! Idiots!" The two sigh as Perry walks over to them with a kid about Bree's age. "I want you two to show his new kid around. Now I would get you better guides, but I want to show you how mean I am." Perry states the obvious.
The guy just nods and Perry turns back to Bree and Adam. "Do well and I won't give you detention for being late to class." Perry reasons. "But the final bell hasn't gone off." Bree defends right before it does. "Ah!" Perry screams. "Now it has. I'm going to go work out in my new gym. See you losers later." The principal announces while making fun of them.
"Hi." The new kid greets. He looks about Leo's age with a blonde undercut and icy blue eyes. "I'm Silas. It's nice to meet you." Despite Perry's rudeness, he's kept on a smile. "I'm Bree and this is Adam." Bree introduces them and they begin the long tour.
It's a long tour. None of them are too eager to get to class so Bree and Adam make sure the tour lasts the whole period.
"So, where are up what from?" Adam questions the younger kid.
"Miami. So you know, not too much of a change." Bree agrees with him. California and Florida are a bit similar. "My mom and I just moved here. We're actually living on Billionare's Butte." Bree smiles at Adam. After a moment, Adam gets it. "Hey that's where we live."
"You must have moved into the house next door. It's been on the market for a while." Bree concludes.
"Well the realator just said that's because it was over priced; my mom didn't mind paying for it though." He mentions.
"And your schedule takes you right here." Bree shows. There are students already filing in. "Thanks for showing me around."
"No problem." Bree chirps. "And you got us out of first period so thank you." Adam thanks the blonde to which they all agree with a smile.
"We thanks again. Oh, and you two make a really cute couple." Silas tells them before walking into class leaving them both shocked. They both look at each other, at a complete for words. "I-um-uh" They both stutter and then they run off away from one another (Bree running like a normal person;obviously they're at school).
By lunch time, Adam and Bree haven't stopped thinking about it. They didn't pay attention to most of their morning classes. "So I told Janelle that we would totally „Study" tonight. If you get my drift." Leo tells Chase accompanied with air quotes.
"Yeah I get it, you're going to make out with her. I would get your drift without being incredibly smart." Chase is tired about hearing Leo's not-so-subtle affectionate talk about Janelle. Especially since no one else is at the table and Leo is just focused on talking (just bragging like come on) to him.
Adam walks into the lunchroom and looks around. Scanning the room quickly for Bree.
"Hey, Adam. Come over here. Sit with us. Now." Chase demands and Adam walks over to sit down with them. "What's up?" Before Leo launches into his dreamy "Janelle" talk, Chase beats him to the punch. "Nothing, nothing with us. What about you? What are you late?"
Chase is sure that anything Adam says would be more interesting than listening to Leo.
"I just, locked myself in the bathroom. It was actually kind of confusing." Honestly, he thought that since Bree also ate pretty fast, she would be done before he got there. "Yeah, sounds really interesting." Chase lies. He just doesn't want Leo to talk. He's been talking for twenty minutes straight.
Adam tries to make up a story but Bree walks in. Since Adam is facing the entrance, they make eye contact right away. Chase and Leo turn to see her and she stumbles before charging back out the doors.
"What was that about?" Leo questions.
"Girls. She probably just got really emotional over smelling the brusselsprouts." Adam suggests. Chase and Leo agree, accepting that as the reason.
Bree has decided to just eat on the stairs for lunch. "Hey." Silas greets sitting down next to her with his lunch.
"Hi." Bree returns.
"Oh, I've been meaning to talk to you. Adam is so not my boyfriend. He's my brother." Bree informs the blonde. He sprays his water down the stairs after trying to take a big drink.
"Whoa. I'm sorry. You two just seemed…wow." Silas's eyes are really wide. "Totally on me. I just… assumed." He struggled. "It's okay." She assured him.
"It's not. Things between you are a little tense." This time Silas doesn't assume, he just states it outright.
"I have talent at reading people. I am sorry." Silas continues to apologize. "I just need to talk to Adam. It'll be fine." Bree decides to just spend lunch eating with Silas and decides to talk to Adam later.
After school, Bree gets home to an empty house. Chase and Leo are out at Janelle's; Tasha decided that Leo shouldn't be at a girl's house without her parents home; Tasha is out grocery shopping, and Davenport is at the office. Bree breaths and waits for Adam.
After a few minutes, Adam arrives. "Hey…Bree."
"Adam, I talked to Silas. I explained that we're not dating. He said it was just because we seemed close. That's all." Adam breaths a sigh of relief. "Okay, that's great. Now we can just put this behind us."
Bree nods, "Yep."
"Well I'm going to go watch a YouTube video of a bunny riding a giraffe. It's so cute." He goes to kiss Bree's forehead, as he often does when they resolve an argument. But when he takes the back of her head in his hand, she looks up quickly and instead of kissing her forehead, Adam kisses her right on the lips. After two seconds, they both rip away.
"I gotta go, run to Nevada." Bree blurs out and Adam is left thinking about what just happened.
