Chapter 1
Derek P.O.V.
I raced across the street, the smell of fire still strong in my nose.
Oh god I am a fucking idiot!
Dropping to my knees I raise my head and howl. A howl of a lonely wolf: Of a beta losing his pack. I howl until my voice is hoarse, and when I am done, I wait.
No howl back. No answering call. And that is what breaks me.
Percy P.O.V.
I was 15 years old when the smell of smoke was in my nose, but I couldn't figure out where it came from, and at times I would feel things that weren't mine and I would be confused. I also dreamt of people I didn't know.
Things got worse as I got older, sometimes I would get hurt and I would bleed black, so when that happened I rushed out and went to check what was wrong with me.
It all changed when I saw the wolf.
(A/N: Percy is now in California- because he feels a pull towards there)
His black fur was bloody and he looked to be in pain, his eyes were green like mine, but a lighter one.
"Are you okay?" I whisper and creep forwards; he turns and snarls at me. I am not intimidated. I know him, my whole body does.
"Derek!" a female voice yells out and a brown skinned pretty woman rushes around the forest; her black hair swishing from side to side, as she jogs up to catch the wolf.
I take a step away from the wolf and take one last look into his green eyes, commit it to memory and run away. My feet pounding on the forest floor, before I use some of my powers to soften it and let the current guide me to where it needs to be besides here. Where it smells of monsters and I want to be free of that world.
Derek's POV
After the fight with Kate Argent and Peter Hale, I stood next to Scott and smiled.
"That was great, but I need to leave."
Scott stared at me.
"You're taking the role of an omega?" he asked incredibly.
"No, I have loose ends I need to deal with, someone important I have to find."
Scott takes my head and looks me in the eyes and his eyes flash red, "Come back to me, you're family, no matter what, plus I need my number one beta" with that he pulls back I nod and race out with Blake at my heels.
