MESMERIZING AS THE FIRE
Preface
What to do when you're a Malfoy, but suddenly you're the best friend of the Potters.
What to do when despite the opposition of your family, and the rules that supposedly govern a well raised Malfoy, your heart dictates otherwise.
What to do when you meet the girl of your dreams, but turns out to be the younger sister of your best friend.
What to do when you realize that you fell in love without even noticing; but you know it's almost impossible, and so painful to bear the idea of remaining away from her ever needed presence.
What to do when there is hope, the shortest and smallest piece of hope, telling you that there is opportunity to make the impossible turn out possible, and the unthinkable to be now considered.
Perhaps, love is worth to be fought to the limits. Perhaps, she is worth your fight. No matter what your family could even say or think.
Is it worth sacrificing a broken heart if those cherry lips were to say 'No'? ... Even though the answer hasn't been worded, you know it deep inside. Because you heart can tell that she is worth it.
Because, despite her being the youngest Potter, the only girl considered off limits, you fell in love with her, as never before. You have decided to follow you heart's pronouncement, you have decided that it is worth sacrificing everything; even if it means facing you father's wrath and the world' prejudice. A Malfoy and a Potter are simply not meant to be together…ever. But you'll make sure to prove them wrong, not only because you like to be against what theymight think; but because you love her, you love her and you know she's worth it.
"So," asked the girl, clearly frustrated. "Are you going to give me a reasonable explanation of why would you do such a big deal, in front of everyone at the Great Hall, just because I told you that he kissed me?"
His hazel eyes were all he saw at that time, and at that moment he knew; he didn't care that it was raining anymore. He just took her hand within his and leaned to kiss the same way he had always dreamed of; but the best part of it was, that for once, it was not a dream, but for real.
Because nothing mattered right then, he didn't give a thought to his family, nor to what Draco Malfoy might say about it, much less what James would do to him as soon as he heard of it. The only thing that mattered to the blonde was the girl in front of him. He would just stop being a Malfoy, and she wouldn't be a Potter either; they were just Lily and Scorpius, sharing the most perfect first kiss in the rain.
Nothing mattered as long as he could tangle his fingers in her beautiful and mesmerizing fiery red hair, which had captivated him so much since the very first time. Nothing mattered if Lily Potter was beside him. Nothing mattered, as long as she was his.
He loved her, like he never thought possible of before, and for now that was all that mattered.
