A small child, around the age of eight, sat high up on a cliff in only a long red sun dress swinging her feet over the edge and humming a small tune that her mother had taught her. She had shoulder lengthed spiky black hair and brown eyes, almost mahogany.

She would always sit there asking herself "Why do I exist, why do I NEED to live?"

She would ask her father this and he would say "Well...we all have our different purposes and reasons in life. I live to protect and nurture this family and the villiage we live in."

As nice as it sounded it never really gave her the true answer she wanted and the sad thing is...she didn't know what it was.

So she sat there and asked "Why am I here, what is my purpose?"

Her brother came and sat next her, he heard what she said and knew of her need for answers.

So he said "There will be a time when you are needed and when you will need others. You serve the purpose of other and others give a purpose for you. This is a world of give and take and when you are older you will understand and know."

Even now at age 38 she wonders, sitting high up on the cliff, not about her purpose but of another's.

"Oh dear brother, if only I knew what you meant, then your purpose would not have been fulfilled."

She lay a single white rose in the front of an old tomb stone that read "Here Lies Naru Morizaki, A Beloved Son, Loving Brother, and Brave Shinobi"

I feel sad for my brother had fupilled his purpose in protecting me and the villiage. So now is not needed but missed greatly, rest easy Naru.
