"So you're telling me you've been 20 for 20 years ?"
The blonde haired wizard looked at the person in question as she let out a incredulous laugh. I mean it's not everyday you meet a fire dragon at a coffee shop who has been 20 for 20 years right ?
Her newly acquainted companion smirk at her expression.
"Haha, yes that's what I'm telling you."
The dragon let out a short laugh, genuinely enjoying the conversation with the pretty wizard.
"You're weird Luce !" the dragon said with a smile, " I mean people are normally shocked that they're meeting a fire dragon for the first time, but that clearly didn't faze you."
Growling, trying her best to sound intimidating, which ended up sounding more like a kitten, she glared at the handsome male that sat across from her.
"Hmph, well aren't you full of it."
Chuckling, "What ? No I'm not."
"Well, you're simply not the first dragon I've meet , Natsu."
Looking at his facial expression she continued, "I'm antiquated with Gajeel Redfox,he's a iron dragon."
Groaning loudly the pink haired dragon banged his head on the table, startling Lucy.
"Oh god, how the hell do you know that idiot ? Don't class me and the idiot in the same group, we're completely different."
Sighing she said, "I never did that."
"Yes you did." he replied sounding like a child.
Sighing for the second time, but mentally instead the celestial wizard tried to subtly steer the conversation back to the topic.
"So,um, why are you 20 ? When you should be 40 ?"
Rightttttt, so much for being subtle.
Perking up the fire eating dragon did a complete 180 change in personality, gone was his childish posture and pout, replaced with a flirty smirk that made Lucy's cheeks go red.
"Well, it's simple, because I haven't meet my soulmate, you see, if a dragon hasn't meet his or her's soulmate they can't age past 20."
Looking at Lucy, but with a sudden distant look in his eye's Natsu continued, " It's so they can grow old together with their soulmate."
"Hmmm, so aren't you sad you haven't meet yours as yet ?"
Snapping out of his slight trance the pink haired dragon replied, " Hmph, no way, I love being single and young."
The celestial wizard giggled softly turning a face to look out the window of the quint yet busy coffee shop.
"I guess I was expecting an answer like that form you, haha."
Turning back to look at her watch and noting it was almost time for her lunch break to end, the blonde haired wizard raised her hand to let the waitress know she wanted the bill.
Pulling out her money Lucy looked to the dragon opposite her with a soft smile on her face.
"It was a pleasure having lunch and getting antiquated with someone new," letting out a small laugh, " but my lunch break is almost over so I gotta go."
"Yeah same with me." he chuckled.
Thanking the pixie for bringing her bill the wizard quickly scanned it, placing the money on the table.
"Bye Natsu !" throwing him the same flirtatious smile he gave her when he asked to sit at the table.

Well this wasn't even supposed to be so long, it was originally going to be a quarter of what it is now, but oh well, haha.
