Somewhere, in a small town, by a river, there is scraggy and a Purrloin, fighting for their lives. Humans are trying and succeeding in beating these two Pokemon to an inch of their lives, so that they can get into a gang. When the humans are done they will throw them into the river, getting rid of the evidence. The scraggy will have no energy left to bring himself to safety, but the purrloin will have just enough strength to either save herself or her friend. She wont need more than a second to decide who is more important, so, with the last bit of her strength, she will use tackle, and die, saving her friend, scraggy.

When the scraggy wakes up, he will be confused, sad, and scared. He wont know where his friend has gone, or why she left him. He will question himself, doubt himself. But after the haze has left his mind he will realize that she sacrificed herself to save him, the weaker of the two, the undeserving of the two. He will run, run where he can forget what has happened, where he can hide from the past, from the pain. He will run to the city, where their is no rivers, or lakes, or water. Where he can claim a territory, and become stronger in doing so. He will become stronger, faster, and smarter. Destroying any who oppose him. Though this will be a difficult journey, it is one that he is no longer afraid to take, one that he will no longer shy away from, one that he will over come. For he is the scraggy that will change the live of many, of Pokemon and human alike.
