Disclaimer: I don't own any characters or objects; they belong to Fullmetal Alchemist. I do own my idea.

AN: It's not even Spring time and I still manage to be a busy bee. I apologize for the delay on Last Order, I'm currently half way through with writing the rough draft. I hope you enjoy this post in the meantime. :)

Edward Elric sat a pile of wood next to the brick oven so his wife, Winry, would take it as a hint to make her delicious apple pie. Pinako, Al, and Mei shook their heads, knowing his plans.

"Don't give me that look," Ed exclaimed. "I'm doing it for my kids. They love her pie too."

Alphonse raised an eyebrow,"That's what you always say, but you end up eating it all. If I remember correctly, you even bit Mei when she reached for a slice."

He avoided Edward's glare by glancing at his girlfriend who was rubbing her finger in remembrance.

"Here," Pinako said, holding out a champagne colored envelope. "General Mustang sent this."

Edward huffed. "Great, what does the Lame alchemist want now?"

He opened it and read the card inside.

Edward Elric + Family

You are invited to the wedding of Roy & Riza Mustang.

Date: June 11 Time: 12pm

Address: 'Officer's Rest', Central Amestris

"What does it say?" Mei asked.

"Mustang and Hawkeye are finally getting married."

Everyone gasped, including Winry, who just entered the kitchen.

"Well, it's about time. Their little stare-downs were getting so intense to the point where I thought they were having sex with their eyes," Ed said, receiving a nudge from Winry.

Winry took the card and skimmed over it, "Hang on, 'Officer's Rest'? Isn't that a cemetery?"

"A cemetery?" Ed responded. "That's a little dark to celebrate a couple's bond."

"It could be the church near there," Al suggested.

"Could be," Winry said. "We'll see when the day comes."

When June 11th came, the Elrics found out that the wedding was actually being held at a cemetery. Luckily, there weren't any funerals taking place.

The wedding was small and comfortable, considering both the bride and groom had a limited amount of loved ones.

Edward found their seats reserved in the front with a scribbled note from Roy that read, 'Fullmetal, I guessed you're still the same height, and I wanted you to be able to see my beautiful wife, so I you moved to the front. You're welcome. -RM'.

Much to his annoyance, Ed tested the seats in the back, and he was indeed unable to see.

"This place is familiar," Winry mumbled, then she hushed as the band began to play.

The group of bridesmaids in royal blue dresses formed a line at the end of the aisle. First came Maria with Officer Brosh, followed by two of what Ed recognized as Mustang's sisters, Vanessa and Madeline, who were paired with Falman and Breda. Then came Fuery with the bookworm. Rebecca Catalina and Havoc walked behind just a few feet away. Finally, Gracia and Elicia came down the aisle. Elicia tossed rose petals for Riza who was about to continue her loyal relationship with Roy Mustang, but now as husband and wife. As Gracia stood in as the Maid of Honor, Ed realized exactly why this long-awaited wedding was held at the cemetery.

He looked to the Groom's right to find Maes Hughes' grave holding the spot as the Best Man.

AN: I know Ed wasn't short at the end, but I felt like Roy would still pick on him. Let me know what you think with a Favorite/ Follow/ Review, they put a smile on my face.
