Prologue
Date:April 1,2580 Monday 11:30A.M.
Setting:On a plane heading to my house.(rainy day)
"Another day...and I'm still alive -sighs- joy to the world." I said silently as I take my helmet off with a tier on my left eye.
"You got 20min. till we reach your house." The pilot yells while trying to didn't take long for me to start crying and notice how lost I am in my mind. All I could think of is how sad my only family I ever had was when they noticed I left to the UNSC(United Nations Space Command), the sad part was that I was watching them until they noticed. The more I thought about it, the more I wondered, and the more I thought about it, the more I cried.I felt like a jerk.
"What have I done"I said as I put my hands on my face.
"We'll be there in ten!...you should really look outside it looks nice!" The pilot says and I do as he says.
"It's beautiful...you don't get to see this every day." I say trying to sound happy and calm.
Those ten minutes felt like hours as the plane started to land on the strip. "We're here!" The pilot added as the plane touched the ground. "Are you ready to go now sir?"
I let out a smile. "Of course I am!" I said as I got off the plane. I ran through the terminal, dodging all the other people that were in my way. I didn't care about what they were yelling at me, I was finally going to see my family after so long!
As soon as I was outside, I called a cab and told him the address. It was so long ago when I last saw them. I can't wait to see the look on their faces when I get there.
When we finally get to the house, there was a message on the wall. "WELCOME BACK!" it said. But the paint was cracked so it must've been there for a while? Were they expecting me? Under the message was a lone music box. My music box. The only thing my birth parents ever left me... Why was it here? I stood there for a moment looking at it wondering "I have a bad feeling feeling about this..." I said as I scratched my head and start looking at the door. "Well here goes nothing!"
I opened the door the first thing I notice is the all the lights are out and there a person on mamas eyes open wide as I notice one of my brothers are tide up grasping for help
"Who are you!?" I yelled at the person who looked like he had the armor I had when I joined the UNSC, but all he does is chuckle at me...
