A/N: Hello everyone, this is my first story I am publishing. I always imagined writing my own stories based off of characters and having so many ideas, but never had the courage to do so until now. I hope you don't hate me too much and thank you for taking the time to review my story. I hope you enjoy!

Disclaimer: I do not own Teen Titans or any characters portrayed in this story.

That damn speedster, Kid Flash… That's all she had been thinking about. Ocean blue eyes, red hair as fire. He kept invading her thoughts day in and day out. Everything about him she was suppose to loathe, he was on the hero side and she was a villain. He saves citizens while she hurts them. They were polar opposite, but she just couldn't forget him. No matter how hard she tried to forget about him. He either shows up or her brain refuses to let her think about anything else other than him.

"What makes him so special?" Her conscience keeps bugging her with the same ordinary question. "I dated Kid Kold, he was a major let down. He made me feel like I was one of a kind for a day and disappeared the next. Next, Stone. Do not get me started on him. I should have known. His face seemed familiar, but I went with it anyway and look where that led to, the HIVE Academy being destroyed. Last but not least, Kid Flash. What makes him special out of all the others? How do I know he won't turn out like the others? I have this strong overwhelming gut feeling I just can't put my finger on. I can't tell if I should stay or run away. It fucking freaks me out."

She took a deep breath and kept walking through the streets of Jump City. She kept a red rose he gave to her days prior defeating Madame Rouge. Everywhere she looked she imagined his smile, his laugh, the way he grinned when he teased her. Eventually she saw his whole face up in the midnight sky.

A deep voice interrupted her thoughts and she swiftly turned her head only to meet his deep blue eyes.

"Why the long face Slowpoke? A pretty girl like you shouldn't be sad."

"Are you always this annoying? You know this is considered stalking." She sneered.

"It's not considered stalking if you secretly love it." He chuckled.

"Anyways, why are you here? If you're here to tell me that I can do better, might as well get up and leave Flash. You're wasting your time... You don't want to wind up getting tangled up with me." She replied while looking up towards the night sky.

"I know you can do better, I can't seem to tear myself away from you. There's something about you that's different.

"What makes you so sure? Everyone I have let into my life has either let me down or turned out into people I didn't expect them to become. What makes you different from everyone else?" She angrily replied.

"Because I believe. I'm not just saying it to get credit as a superhero. I honestly believe you're more than the life you led on."

"Kid Flash… I-"

"Jinx, listen to me, you may not think you can do it on your own, but I know you can. I'll be here for you. Honestly, there's something about you that has me drawn to you. I'm not giving up on you. I want you to give me a chance to prove to you that I'm different. That I'm not like everyone else who has turned their back on you when you needed them the most. You're worth it to me. Would you please think about it?" He gave her one last look before turning around to leave Jinx to her thoughts.

"I trust you."

He turned around to see her with a soft smile. He looked at her in awe. No matter what day it was or when he got a chance to see her. She was always beautiful to him, his heart beats faster and he would melt whenever he was near her. He started to realize that he was falling for her hard.

"I won't let you down" He spoke softly to her.

He held her hand to reassure her that everything was going to be okay.
