M4 SHERMAN TANKS

The m4 Sherman tank was the primary tank used in the United States during World War 2 built in tank was named after Union General William Tecumseh Sherman, following the British practice of naming their American-built tanks after famous American civil war generals. The United States made 49,234 M4 Sherman tanks.

The Sherman tank is mounted with a 105mm howitzer gun and has extra armor in front in case if they are going to charge into combat. M4 Sherman tanks can go up to (40/48km/h).The Sherman tanks were used in Canada, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Cuba, Taiwan, Nazis Germany (captured tanks), Chile, Cuba, Denmark, Egypt, Empire of Japan(captured tanks), Free France, India, Iran, Israel, Italy(post war), Lebanon, New Zealand, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Japan(post-war supply, United Kingdom, Soviet Union etc.
