"Don't call him that. He is not family to me at all." Mikasa grumpily said.
Sighing Levi continued," We need him dead, and he raised me since I was a kid. Even with what he put me through I can't bring myself to finish him."
"So you're going to shove it on to me?" Mikasa inquired.
"Yes. You're the only one with balls to even approach him. Well, besides me and a few others anyway. So will you kill him?" Levi asked.
"Is it okay if I get creative?" Mikasa looked at him, her voice tinged with hope.
Ackerman you sadistic shit.
"Go for it. Drown him, make the phoenix fall, anything you can think of."

Mikasa watched the roaring fire. Flame licking the wood, billows of smoke, and the smell of burning flesh in the air.
This scene was... perfect.
"So, you chose to burn him to death." Levi annouced his entrance.
"Ever sit by a fire and laugh?"
"Who hasn't?" Levi boredly asked, ignoring the screams coming from the small island in the middle of the lake Kaney was currently slowly burning to death on.
"Ever sat and laughed while someone was burning alive?"
"I haven't, Mikasa." He bit out.
"So why don't you watch this phoenix burn with me Levi. We'll laugh like hounds. Well I will anyway, I can't say that you will."
"You know something Mikasa. You are one sadistic shit."
"No Levi. Not a sadistic shit, I'm a psychotic snake."

Snake for Mikasa because snakes are slippery, repulsive and hard to find. Now I know Mikasa is not repulsive but the Scouting Legion is to AoT society, and she is in with that group. She is also sneaky like a snake (as seen in the manga.)
Phoenix for Kaney because he is hard to take down. Yes, I know phoenixs are glorified beings. But isn't Kaney since he is a serial killer, and serial killers usually get so much attention from people.
