Forever Yours
I woke up one January morning, knowing today would be the day. I quickly rushed to get dressed, and polished off the gorgeous knife that would soon be covered in Raoul's blood. Oh, my beautiful Christine. We were meant to be together!

From there, I sat, counting the hours until the moment I would have what destiny had meant to be mine.
I walked along the streets of Paris. It was a cold, breezy night. I took in the beautiful darkness. Finally, I would destroy the one thing that was in between me and my love. The weapon I would use I gripped in my hands.
I would relieve the urge to stab him directly in the heart.
And then, she would be mine. After what seemed like decades, she and I would have Europe, no, the world at our feet! I was at the doors of the Viscount's house. I had stolen a key from a careless housekeeper at the market one afternoon.
I crept in, closing the door behind me as quietly as I could. Now, it was time for the hard part. The house was cloaked in silence. Almost as if I was the only living thing. Suddenly, I heard footsteps. My chance! A figure emerged in the darkness.
Before I knew what I was doing, I lunged. The knife slid into his chest. But, wait. This was the chest of a woman! I took some matches from my pocket and lit a candle. Staring up at me, life slipping away, was... Christine! No, no, it can't be!
I picked up her body, as she struggled to say, "Yes, Father, I'm ready". Then, she went limp. I had just killed the one reason I had to stay alive! The front of her body was covered in blood. I did the one thing I thought of doing.
With Christine's corpse cradled in my arms, I ran home, grabbing some roses along the way. Once I got to my underground hellhole, I put the body of my beloved into a coffin I hadn't planned on using until years later. I scattered rose petals around her pale face.
Careful not to do anymore damage to her body, I got into the coffin along side her. Then, I closed the coffin door, saying goodbye to the life I once knew, surrounded by music, and began a new life, where I would be surrounded by my love. And this life would last forever.
