Chapter 1

A girl with beautiful silver white locks flowing down to her waist with evident sadness on her face can be seen looking out from the window of her room, the girl looks at a distance as if she's looking for something or perhaps someone. It has been seven years since Uro had found the girl who was washed ashore and ever since then she had been under their care and of course she is very grateful of them, but then there is this something within her that tells her that there's something missing, a missing piece of her heart, of herself.

At the door step there stood a young man with aqua blue hair who is looking at the girl with worry. Usually the girl would always be cheerful and full of smiles, but he knows that once she's alone; that sad face will surely be on her face. 'How can I fill in your longing?' Karoku thought as he watches Cyril with worry.

"Karoku… hey, good morning…" Cyril said smiling sweetly at him.

"Is there something bothering you? You seem distracted" Karoku asked her as he sits next to her.

"Nothing in particular…" Cyril answered him.

"Tell me, I know it's not just nothing. You won't just be this distracted if it's really nothing."

Cyril sighed and knew that even if she insist on that she wasn't thinking anything Karoku would know she's lying "How is it that you know me so well?" Cyril asked trying to change the subject but then Karoku just frown and she let out a deep sigh and answered him "Fine… uhm… I think I'm starting to remember my past…" hearing this, Karoku was a bit surprised and scared at the same time for some reason he can't understand.

"Really? What did you remember?" Karoku asked curiously.

"It's not much but I think it's better than nothing… I remembered someone" Cyril said.

"Ohh…who? A relative of yours?" he asked.

"I'm not sure, but I remembered a boy with black messy hair and a girl… I can't really recall the girl's face but I remember the boy… he maybe... well just maybe, maybe he was someone who was close to me…"

Hearing that Karoku fell silent and thought of who might that boy be, was he an important person to Cyril? Why is it that he's the first person she has to remember? All this question are all filling his head and he can't help not get jealous of the boy from Cyril's memories because for him, Cyril is the only person he can call his.

"Karoku? You alright?" Cyril asked worried.

"Yeah, I'm fine… just…." Before he could finish what he was going to say, he embraced Cyril in a tight hug and said "Don't leave me…please" sounding desperately.

"I'm not going anywhere…" Cyril leaned on Karoku soothing the older male. Unknown to her, it was jealousy that made Karoku say those things. As for Karoku, he'll make sure that no one will take Cyril away from him. Not a boy from a memory even if it ends up being her family, no one. Not now, not ever.
