Marys light

I wrote a poem in Marys POV, to Adam. It's a poem about how he saved her when no one else could. And how he learned her to live again, even if she couldn't see.

I remember the day my world turned black

I thought that I never would get my life back

Everything was so dark and that scared me

I never thought that I could live without see

But then you came in to my life

And in you I found a light

You gave me hope and made my world a better place

You're the most beautiful I know, even if I haven't seen your face

Because of you I could be what I always wanted to be

You have learned me that I don't need eyes to see

In many ways I'm glad that I lost my sight

Because if I hadn't gone blind, you wouldn't be mine

You saved me and my life, Adam Kendall

Without you would my life don't have a meaning at all

I swear in everything I have, I love you

And I promise that I'll always do
