story idea for anyone who wants to have a crack at it.

Harry Potter has been having dreams since he was seven. this isn't unusual for a child, but what is strange, is that his dreams are of a young girl who befriends him, and begins going to a school that teaches magic.

Fleur Delacour, a veela, does not have many friends, but she does have a secret. her dreams are of a black haired, Green-eyed boy who becomes her best friend, and when she begins school, she starts teaching him what she learns.

Harry, on his 11th birthday, learns that magic is real, not just a dream. he isn't as awed as he thought he would be, but takes things more in stride. his academics are surprisingly high for one raised in the muggle world, and only his two friends have any idea why.

Hermoine knows of his friend from his dreams, and while she first tried to get him to admit they are just dreams, when he proves he knows how to use spells that he never researched with her and shouldn't know for a few years, she admits something might be going on.

their dreams allow them to connect and as they grow, so to do their feelings, until each has admitted to themselves that if the other were real, they would love to be in a relationship. little do the two realize that they shall meet. their dreams continue through until fourth year.

when fourth year comes and the Tri-wizard tournament is beginning, all the students are outside waiting for their guests, and when Beauxbatons arrives, and the students file out, everyone is stunned at the gorgeous blonde, until a single word causes her to freeze.

"Fleur?" Harry's voice echoes and Fleur recognizes his voice.

"Arry?" Fleur says as she scans the crowd, until she locates him. upon finding him, Fleur breaks ranks and dashes over to give him a hug.

optional: Hermoine can be included in the pairing, but doesn't need to be, her relationship with Harry can go as the writer pleases, to a sister, or to a girlfriend, or whatever.

his adventures at Hogwarts follow canon loosley, up until fourth year upon meeting Fleur, canon can sod off, and the author has carte blanche.
