The rain was hitting the hut so hard it sounded as though people were throwing rock's , The lightning was so brite with every flash it looked as though it was day
Kagome missed her home but, was very thankful to have Inuyasha when it stormed like it was on this very hott spring night .
" Inuyasha can you please bring my flashlight please?"
Kagome said with some fright in her voice.
"Sure what for?"
Inuyasha said puzzled.
" I don't know I just feel safer at night durring storm's with a flashlight. When i'm home my mother used to give us a flashlight when it stormed, incase of a power outage and it remind's me of her when I have one by me now , when it storm's."
After he ended up bringing her the flash light , he sat closer to kagome, where she had set up her sleeping spot .
Because for some reason he knew it made her feel more at ease.
With another big boog of thunder and a crash of lightning,Kagome sat up
"That's it , I can't sleep "
The night had only just begone , So kagome knew this was the start to a very long night .
" You can go to sleep Inuyasha, I can't sleep this storm is so loud" she grunted
"Kagome , I'm not going to sleep im on guard, And besides this storm is nothing"
even , though he knew it was a pretty bad storm , one of the worst he had seen in awhile.
" Inuyasha , were you ever afraid of storm's?" Kagome was sitting up , looking out of the door way at the rain , holding her knees tward's her body.
"Nah, my mother said there was no reason to ever be afraid of a storm it was just nature's way of showing color , and anger."
About and hour passed by and the storm hadn't let up , Kagome just sat there in darkness looking now at her friend's who were fast asleep thinking about how the storm didnt even bother them.
Inuyasha was half asleep half awake leaning up against the wall . Kagome wanted to go outside for awalk , she wasnt afraid of storms when she was out in it for some strange reason but she knew she'd never get passed inuyasha no way would he let her go out side alone so she layed back down and to her surprise she fell right to sleep .
