Dean gripped the demon knife in his hand as Crowley whistled for his hellhound. Dean could hear the click of its claws on the hardwood as it approached him, ready to pounce.

"He hasn't eaten yet… thought I'd spoil him and give him a Winchester..." Crowley spat.

The dog was suddenly right in front of Dean's face. He slowly reached to his face to wipe off the gooey spit the phantom dog was splattering all over him. Without thinking twice, Dean plunged the knife into the hellhound's back as it pounced. The hound backed off, trotting back to its owner.
