Dear Mom and Dad,

This Thanksgiving I have spent my time being great full that the Commandant did not have us go on a long work detail today. Instead, he had us clean the camp. This did not take very long as seeing that he always sees to it that everything is in a neat and orderly way. In addition, because of it being a holiday, he allowed us one extra slice of white bread! How was your Thanksgiving? Did you have all the family over? I miss you all so much! The hardest thing for me to think about is how I'm here and cannot celebrate the holiday with all you back in Bridgeport. I love you and you are always in my thoughts. Please keep me in yours!

Love,

Rob

Man how I hate not being able to be there having Thanksgiving with my family! What I hate even most, is that I have to keep them in the dark about what happens around here!
