Prologue

Peeta's pov.

He knew his routine ... Date a girl for a little bit, take her home, have sex with her, and then let his parents do the talking. (Meaning do the dumping for him). He knew his routine was wrong, but he couldn't help it. Ever since the tragic event ... well in the mean time ... he never thought he'd be outsmarted at his own game by one of the girls he picked up. But he was ... and that' s where the story begins.
